The protagonist's language expresses the characteristic of the literary character, shows his emotions and reflects his view of the world. The aim of this article is to show the answer on the question how changes introduced in translation on the level of microstructure of the text impact the adequacy of reproduced image of the protagonist.Язык героя выражает опосредованную характеристику персонажа, указывает на эмоции и отражает его взгляд на окружающий мир.
